This coffee is produced at El Vergel farm in Fresno, Tolima, by brothers Shady and Elias Bayter. Raised in farming, they shifted from avocado growing to coffee in 2012, falling in love with the specialty coffee movement. In 2016, they launched a varietal project at El Vergel, which benefits from a unique microclimate near the Nevado del Ruiz volcano.
