In 2016, Thomas and Basti connected with Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera, renowned coffee producers in Honduras, during their time as Cup of Excellence jurors. This meeting marked the start of a lasting friendship. Marysabel, rooted in a long lineage of coffee growers in Marcala, and Moises, originally from Guatemala, now run their farm together. They continuously improve their coffee processing methods with a focus on sustainability. Moises's passion is evident in his "Garden of Eden," where he experiments with rare coffee varieties under controlled conditions.
