BOSQUE ALMA

Sociedad Agrícola Comercial Pillcocaja S.A., founded in 2008 in the Yunguilla Valley near Cuenca, began with sugarcane cultivation for alcohol production. 
After declining sales led to the suspension of distillation in 2013, the company shifted to high-quality coffee production, partnering with Nestlé Ecuador to test and plant special coffee varieties. This transition led to the commercial cultivation of 7 hectares of coffee and a project to produce certified seed. 
Today, Pillcocaja supports over 20 local families and promotes quality throughout its coffee value chain.
