BLUE SILK

This washed coffee lot is from Ephta, managed by Wubit Bekele. Ephtah is dedicated to supporting women, who are essential in coffee production yet often lack resources and opportunities. In Gedeb, Ephtah manages a key washing station, employing 17 permanent staff and 150 seasonal workers on a 2-hectare farm with 150 drying beds. 
The station processes high-quality heirloom coffee while contributing to local social and economic progress. Ethiopian heirloom varieties include both wild regional landraces and JARC-developed types researched by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center.
